Meet Our West Palm Beach Vet

Our West Palm Beach vet, Dr. Celia M. Oberto, brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and love to the practice. A graduate of the University of Miami and the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Oberto has spent many years working with animals of all kinds. Before going into private practice, she worked at the University of Miami as a research assistant for the Department of Medicine, as well as a veterinary assistant for the Department of Animal Care Primate Breeding Center.

Cat and Dog Vet Services

Dr. Oberto and staff provide comprehensive cat and dog vet services for all stages of life.

Wellness Exams: A yearly wellness exam keeps your cat or dog healthy with a nose to tail check that includes taking vitals, examining teeth, organs and coat, and checking for abnormalities, such as tumors.

Dental Cleanings: An annual dental cleaning under anesthesia is an effective way to prevent periodontal disease and its serious side effects, which include tooth loss and even organ damage. During a wellness exam, we will make recommendations for your pet's teeth.

Diagnostics: Blood work, urinalysis, x-rays and ultrasounds are important tools that aid diagnosis when you know your pet is not feeling well. Diagnostics are also the best way to screen for diseases that develop before your pet shows symptoms.

Vaccinations: We recommend every cat and dog receive life-saving core vaccines on a routine schedule. In some cases, such as for boarding or vising certain outdoor environments, your cat or dog may need additional vaccines.

Spay and Neuter: Sterilization surgery of spay or neuter not only prevents your pet from having a litter, but it also has many health benefits, such as reducing the risk of deadly cancers.
